Expressing ourselves through emoticons has become so common that they are literally added nearly everywhere. They are part of how we digitally communicate. You might be used to dropping a smiley 😀 in a text message or just about any other conversation, but did you know that you can also shed tears of joy 😂 in a Google Doc?

Yes, you heard it right!

Emoji, the most viable form of expressing our feelings on social media, has found its way to the Google Workspace and now we can react to any content on Google Docs, simply using a symbol instead of writing a comment or remark on it.

The emoji reaction feature will appear as a third option alongside ‘Add Comment’ and ‘Suggest Edits’ when you highlight text. This way the users will be able to express their opinions about document content in an informal way.

Good work but here is a suggestion Google — Can we also have an emoji suggestor based on the tone of the texts selected.
